CBZ Solutions (Pty) Ltd traces its local roots back to 1979 when the company was registered as Clyde Blowers South Africa (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Clyde Blowers in Scotland.
However, in essence an amalgamation of the expertise of three companies, Clyde Blowers, Diamond Blowers and Hans Bergemann Wärmetechnik, its history goes back to the early decades of the last century when, in 1924, Clyde Blowers was established. Serving the steam locomotive and marine industries, the company supplied devices for boiler cleaning – devices still known today as “sootblowers”.
In 1996 Clyde Blowers acquired Hans Bergemann Wärmetechnik, specialists in boiler cleaning solutions, founding the Clyde Bergemann Power Group and resulting in the South African-based company being renamed Clyde Bergemann Africa (Pty) Ltd.
Today, following its acquisition in June 2021 by Apex Industrial Holdings (Pty) Ltd, the company operates across Africa as CBZ Solutions (Pty) Ltd, providing a powerful portfolio of services and products for effective on-load boiler cleaning and ash handling, and reliable combustion gas cleaning.
